Dry Needling/Orthopedic Sports Acupuncture

Dry Needling/Orthopedic Sports Acupuncture Is A Technique Used To Treat Trigger Point Pain and Myofascial Pain.

Why Use Dry Needling/Orthopedic Sports Acupuncture

Dry needling was originally called Orthopedic Acupuncture and is a technique used to treat trigger point pain, motor point pain and myofascial pain. Other terms commonly used to describe dry needling, include acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, and intramuscular manual therapy.

It is important to understand that only a licensed acupuncturist that is trained in orthopedics, sports acupuncture and/or manual needling therapies has years of study into how each needle insertion will impact an entire body system. It is impossible to understand the impact of each needle insertion, which was studied for thousands of years, in a weekend course.

We are the only physicians in the Niles Illinois area who have extensive training in both Dry Needling and Orthopedic Sports Acupuncture.
